Jung-Hoon Kim, M.D., MTR

I have invested the past 15 years of my career into providing health care to older adults, and I have done so because I cherish continuity of care and long-term relationships with my patients. As a geriatrician, I prioritize getting to know my patients, which enables me to offer a more personalized approach to their care. Establishing a trusted partnership with each patient allows me to consider the physical, emotional, and social factors contributing to their health risks, conditions, and goals. It is incredibly rewarding to work with each patient toward a plan that will maximize functionality and quality of life.

I emphasize to my patients that we do not solely care for them when they are sick. A significant component of our services at Legacy Senior Primary Care is preventive care and working with healthy older adults to delay aging, including functionality and cognitive impairment. Improved health is not just possible—it is realistic and achievable, and I am privileged to have the opportunity to work with my patients toward their health and wellness goals.
